Who We Are.
Octopus Garden Design is based in Warners Bay on the shores of Lake Macquarie central to Newcastle & The Hunter regions. Although our projects are predominately along the coast of Newcastle we love to travel throughout NSW & Victoria.
Our focus is designing private residential gardens & boutique commercial projects.
We are passionate about creating modern, coastal & elegant gardens that combine function, balance & style.
We can design and document all aspects of exterior works from courtyard gardens to country properties.

Our Roots.
Creative Director - Gerrad Everson completed a Bachelor degree in Architecture at The University of Newcastle before following his heart to Melbourne to study Landscape Architecture at The University of Melbourne.
Gerrad went on to work for multi award winning garden designers – Jack Merlo & Eugene Gilligan, creating some of Australia’s finest gardens for nearly 10 years throughout Melbourne.
Returning to Newcastle in 2008, Octopus Garden Design was established and has grown with additional support staff with qualifications in Architecture, Horticulture, Landscaping, 3D graphics, Landscape Design & Administration to maintain our high level of service to our clientele.
