CONSULTATION + DESIGN
We begin every residential project with a Design Consultation to discuss your brief and provide ideas & advice to reach the gardens potential. This discussion can include general advice to improve your existing garden or ideas for your new pool, pavilion, planting or whatever you can imagine.
The consultancy is typically a one hour meeting onsite with our Creative Director Gerrad Everson. For projects beyond Newcastle we can discuss your brief via phone & email initially and then arrange a suitable time to meet.
Following the consultation, we shall prepare a written fee proposal for your consideration outlining the scope of work discussed and our fee schedule.
DESIGN + BUILD STAGE
Upon acceptance of our design proposal we will then get to work designing and documenting
your new garden and include items such as lawns, garden beds, paving, pools, barbecues, decking, lighting & plant selection as necessary.
The drawings are then presented to you either in person at our studio office or via email & explained in further detail along with plant photos & material samples.
Through discussion, any amendments are noted & plans revised as necessary to ensure you are completely happy with the design.
If your project has structural elements such as retaining walls, swimming pools, pergolas or other items requiring permit approval we can also document the necessary details for DA approval by local Council. We are always happy to work in conjunction with Architects, Engineers and other consultants or we can recommend suitable people to ensure a smooth transition throughout the design & approval process.
Following any revisions to the design documentation and permit drawings, we can recommend suitable landscape & pool contractors & material suppliers to provide quotes for your project or we handle the tender process on your behalf.
During the construction we are always available upon request to answer questions or resolve any design issues that may arise.
